Although I have always enjoyed reading, I found it difficult to make time to read for fun while I was in university. After graduating from the Master of Library and Information Science program in 2001, James Schellenberg and I co-founded BiblioTravel and I have more reason than ever to look for fun things to read.

Listening to stories has always made a trip more enjoyable for me, whether the trip is a few hours or a few weeks long. The following countries are among the list of places I have visited: Australia, Austria, China, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, England, France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, and Switzerland.

For me, the most important part of packing for any trip is planning which books to take along.
